I'm wondering whether I'll become one of those crazy old ladies who wear too much perfume.
We all had that librarian. The one that stood too close to you while you tried to work in your high school library. The one who wore that oh-so-cloying scent that you could smell from down the hallway or for half an hour after she left the room. What made her think it was a good idea to leave the house smelling as though she'd bathed in Eau-de-skunk? Seriously.
Is this just an old woman thing? I mean younger girls wear too much perfume too, but it usually smells a lot better than grandma's attic. At what age do we start to think that a heady mix of mothballs and rosehips is what's been missing from our life?
